The Obsidian Wellness Club team opens this week with products and influencers that may improve how you work, play, and train.
You know what we do, but do you know what Obsidian Wellness stands for? This month, your Obsidian Wellness Club administrators, Joseph, Arista, and Evan celebrate Black Business Month. Along with sharing their favorite Black businesses and influencers, you will also understand the club’s purpose and vision. Obsidian Wellness Club is supported by four dimensions or “pillars”. Each pillar (Outer Body, Inner Body, Growth Mindset, and Community Mindset) has a unique gem and activities attached to it.
The Diamond represents our first Obsidian Wellness Club pillar, the Outer Body, and its physicality. Movement is paramount here as this pillar is where we enjoy workouts, trainings, and other forms of physical activity such as our group Spartan races. Joseph’s Pick
Royce Sarpy is no stranger to Obsidian as he has collaborated with us in the past in previous events. He is a certified Kemetic yoga teacher, personal trainer, children's book author, educator, and more. He is very intentional on social media about using his expertise in both yoga and personal training to show how movement impacts how you feel and move while having a smile on his face. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, do yourself a favor and take his yoga class!
Arista’s Pick
You Go Natural aka YGN. As a woman with locs, I am always focused on keeping my hair as clean as possible when working out and out of my way. YGN offers amazing protective headwear for active people. Anthony Green - Anthony Green, or @coachgreen.pt on Instagram, has become one of my favorite social media accounts. As a mobility coach, he has created Greens Relief Mobility Course which releases the pain, tension, and stiffness in your body. Before you commit to this program, use some of his shorter YouTube or IG videos to correct your posture or ease your lower back pain. You will not regret knowing about him.
